TLT X: The Houston Statue & Monoshone Trail with Gerry Schweiger
December 2 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Meet at Johnson St. between Lincoln Dr. and Wissahickon Av. Johnson is one way between Wissahickon Av. and Lincoln Dr. so enter Johnson from Wissahickon. Park on Johnson as close as possible to Lincoln.
Of the 3 statues remaining in the Park, only one is never visited. The statue of Park benefactor, Henry Houston, is strangled by the Lincoln Dr. traffic patterns. Using the Monoshone Trail and a secret handshake neighborhood trail we will visit Houston at his Harvey St. lair (location) avoiding Lincoln Dr.’s hair raising traffic.
ATC miles: 3 miles
