Spring Migration Birding & Photography w/ Joe Durrance & Michael Kopena
April 21, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Meet at the Kitchen’s Lane Bridge. This will be a Spring migration bird/photography hike up to the Toleration Statue/Mom Rinker’s Rock that loops back along Forbidden Drive. The hike will be taken at a slow birding/photography pace. We will sit on the ridge top near Toleration Statue and scan the treetops for birds. Bringing a camera or binoculars is optional. A limited number of binoculars will be available for loan. Level: easy to moderate.
Registration is recommended for all hikes (required if indicated) so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Long pants are recommended for protection against occasional poison ivy and possible ticks. Bring water and a snack if desired. Unless otherwise noted, children over six are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or icy conditions. For more information contact Cesali Renn at email@example.com. Visit www.fow.org for updates.
