Volunteers

For more than 80 years, volunteers have cared for the Wissahickon. Volunteers are the active, involved people who carry out the FOW’s mission to preserve and protect the Wissahickon Valley. Throughout the year, they work individually and in teams to plant trees, remove vines, repair trails, restore structures, clean up graffiti and serve on committees. Find out more and Get Involved.

Volunteers are rewarded with the satisfaction of nurturing the unique Wissahickon Valley and its wildlife.
Volunteers of all ages, skill levels and experience are needed.
