Members

At present, the Friends of the Wissahickon has a total of 1,300 household memberships. Not surprisingly, about half of our members live in Philadelphia areas bordering the Park – Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy, Roxborough, East Falls and Germantown. The FOW, however, has members from all over the city and the Delaware Valley region, and even 17 states.

Our members are vital to the support of the Friends. Not only do they contribute significant dollars, but many are active volunteers working on projects in the Park. Informed of Park issues through our newsletter and website, members play a role as advocates often attending public meetings and writing letters of support.

Member participation in our Committees is always welcome.
