Education

An important aspect of the Friends of the Wissahickon’s mission is public education – the foundation of sound stewardship. FOW formed an Education Committee in 2004 to implement this part of its mission.

Outreach activities include a series of Winter Lectures, support of Wildlife Committee activities and collaboration with both the Wissahickon Environmental Center and the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education (SCEE). The Education Committee welcomes new Members.
