Cell Phones

Because of the terrain of the Wissahickon Valley, communication by cell phone is usually not possible within the Park. 

Vendors of cell phone service have suggested installing transmission towers within the Park. The Friends have voiced their objection to such towers unless they are totally unobtrusive.
